Suppose she earned x /month and save 1/n fraction

Monthly saving = x/n

Monthly expense = x-(x/n) = x(n-1)/n

Yealry saving = 12x/n

As per the q = 12x/n = 3*x*(n-1)/n

Solve to get n = 5

So she save 1/5th fraction of mnthly pay
