TWO couples and a single person are to be seated on 5 chairs such that no couple is seated next to each other. What is the probability that no two couples sit together?

Can you please clarify...

probability = number of expected outcomes / total number of outcomes.
I'm not clear on what probability here is referring to.

Is it asking for the total number of ways such a seating is possible ?
