In a certain game, a large container is filled with red, yellow, green, and blue beads worth, respectively, 7,5,3 and 2 points each. A number of beads are then removed from the container. If the product of the point values of the removed beads is 147,000, how many red beads were removed?

a. 5
b. 4
c. 3
d. 2

I would say D) 2. We just need to find the prime factorization for 147,000. Specifically, we want to know how many 7s there are in the prime factorization. Drop the zeros since they only give you 5s and 2s. Then you are left with factoring 147. It is divisible by 3 since (1+4+7 = 12) is divisible by 3. So 7*7*3 is the prime factorization of 147. So we know two of the marbles were red with a point value of 7. Hope this is right.
