each person who attended a company meeting was either a stockholder in the company, an employee of the company, or both. if 62 percent of thos who attended the meeting were stockholders and 47 percent were emplotyees, what percent were stockholders, who were not employees?

2 Overlapping sets question.

Use this formula

group1+group2-both+neither = total

Since we are given percents lets say the total is 100

62(S)+47(E)-both(S AND E) = 100
both = 9

Therefore just shareholders = 62-9 = 53
