Sequence of 8 consecutive odd intergers where 9 is the 7th term is

-3 -1 1 3 5 7 9 11
(7th term)

Place the 7th term and fill in the rest. We know that they are consecutive odd integers.

Summing the above sequence will give us 32.

Why do you use 11 instead of -5.
Thanks
