Let Alice's take home pay per month = $x
and let she saved $y per month
So, her savings for a year = $12y
Amount that Alice did not saved per month = $(x - y)
Hence, 12y = 3(x - y)
15y = 3x
y = (1/5)x
Hence, the correct answer is (D).
