Let a,b,c,d,e,f ,g and h represent any of the digits from 1 to9 . if the 5-digit number abcd9 is divisible by the 3-digit number ef7 , the quotient could be :

a. gh3
b. gh4
c. gh5
d. gh6
e. gh7

abcd9 = ef7 *K + 0

we need to get units digit of 9

therefore, only option which has 7 in its units digit is E.

Hence E.

One more vote for E)

Similar to PC's explanation units digit of quotient needs to be 7 so that the resulting 5 digit number has a units digit 9.

quotient * ef7 = abcd9
