pirated?

by mjjking » Thu Jul 05, 2007 2:13 pm
Well, hopefully they weren't pirated! I've always been told by my wholeseller they were actually reg. 6 dvds, which I checked out to be official asian releases. In addition, I haven't received any complaint from my buyers...
But I'm not 100% sure, I'm honest. How can highlight the good of my business leaving aside this particular which could turn against myself?

thanks!

Hi Rob,

I'm sure that if you know they were fine, they're fine. Working in the entertainment industry I'm probably a little sensitive to rights management issues. I didn't mean to start discussing the issue too specifically.

Tone is definitely something to be careful for in your essays - including striking the balance between being too arrogant and being too humble, avoiding the appearance of being unethical, etc. I'm afraid it's something that's hard to make a blanket statement about because it fits more into the ambiguous and subjective category.

I would always advise having several readers for your essays whether you use a consulting service or not. Often other people can tell you if your "tone" is appropriate.

Good luck!
