EXCEPT /LEAST questions

by ArpanaAmishi » Tue Jun 21, 2011 11:50 pm
How to better handle the EXCEPT/LEAST questions... I always find them difficult to handle as out of 5, 4 choices have to be correct and elimination becomes difficult & time consuming, moereover this is the time you are eliminating correct answer rather than incorrect....

Any strategic quick hit on this ?

You are actually doing the same thing as you always do - evaluating each answer choice to see if it falls within a correct answer or not. Most people experience problems becuase they are trying to flip in their mind in this manner - A is correct as to the argument so it is not the answer - cross it off. This gets taxing and people make mistakes. So the best way to avoid this is to use your scratch paper - don't eliminate answers - simply write True/False/? next to each answer and then go back to the question to judge which answer correctly answers the question.
