How many DS questions in quant section?

Hi guys,

I just took the GMATprep test and noticed that there were about as many DS questions as PS questions (PS: 20, DS:17). I must admit I was a little bit suprised since I had previously read DS questions make about a third of the entire quant section. Has anyone made a similar experience on the real test?

Though this is only an approximation, a major test prep org suggests that DS has 15 questions, while PS has 22.

These are the proportions I'm used to seeing in practice tests as well. So your count of question types is only a 2-question difference from the norm.

Moreover, I've never ever heard that DS is only one-third of the Quant section. That is far too under-representative.
