Hi ,

I am planning to give GMAT on April 15th this year. As the application deadlines for most of the bschools would have been completed by that time is it advisable to go for few of the bschools in their last round?

Do I have a chance at any of the top US/European Bschool considering the point that I am already late for admission in 2009?

Please advise me on this.

Dear magnetronclassic,

There are not many schools in the global top 50 that have deadlines past April 15 for fall admission. However, there might be some out there or some with a January entry that you could consider. The final round is a tough round to apply in for any school as there are very few seats left. Thus only applicants that are highly attractive to the school will be offered a seat (if any remain). If you do not feel you are an overall outstanding candidate for your target schools, then it might be better to wait and apply in the first round of the next admissions cycle.

Good luck,
Lisa
