GMAT - 640, 46M 31V
Undergrad: NYU with 3.2
Work: 12 years in major IBank as IT Manager
Goal: NYU Part Time Program

Let me know your thoughts:)

I usually do worst in math and better on the verbal (perfect balance of 41/41 on overage), so I don't know why I choked. I will take it again in 30 days.

US News has just started rating part-time programs. NYU shows up as 5th with a 675 GMAT and 50%+ acceptance rate. AN extrat 40-50 points on your GMAT would be helpful.

You would have considerably more experience than most of their applicants. You should be exploring executive MBA programs as well. The difference is usually that people in executive programs are sponsored by their companies and plan on returning to their field. They are looking for basic understanding in other functions, but are not as into exploring a range of areas as are more junior applicants. If, however, you are looking to move out of IT, then you want to stay with a broader curriculum aimed at the field you are targeting.

Good luck,
