I am taking my GMAT on 11/7 and honestly at this point I am not too sure about scoring what I need. I have a few application deadlines coming up.

I have one application in the middle of November and one due in the middle of December. My plan was that if I don't do well on 11/7, I can take GMAT one more time before the middle of December to meet the december deadline.

How would the schools view new GMAT scores after you submitted your application? Should I tell them in the optional essay? Does this mean I am automatically waitlisted and/or held incomplete until I send them a new score?

Which of the top schools are more open to accepting new GMAT scores after application submission?

Thanks

Most schools expect your packet to be complete (GMAT score included) when you submit your application. If you specify that you would like future GMAT scores to be considered then your application will probably be held until the next round. However, I would encourage you to contact the Admissions Offices of each school to be sure of their policy.

Hi
The Tuck Admissiona FAQ says this:
The Tuck application allows students to report up to two GMAT and/or GRE test scores. If you have scored better on one test in the verbal section and better on the other in the quantitative section, we will consider your highest quantitative and highest verbal scores.

Are there any other schools who would do the same?

Thanks

What other schools are you applying to? I would just check their website's to see. If you don't find an answer on their website, this is a great question to ask admissions.

No problem. Make sure you thoroughly check their website as you don't want a reply to be, "see this link here...". Otherwise, I think it's a great question and it's always good to connect with adcom.
