Dear zmaster85,

There is no evidence to suggest there is a significant difference to applying in round 1 versus round 2 in terms of your chances. As schools receive complete applications, they generally enter the queue for evaluation. So, submitting prior to the specified deadline day is always advisable to avoid the large rush the 24-48 hours prior to the round deadline.
