Hi Srikar,

Good GMAT score. Congrats on that! Could you let me know your percentile score according to Indian standards? You may have not converted it correctly. Either ways, your GMAT score can offset the low GPA. I'm guessing you graduated from a standard Indian College that was a 3 year program - As long as it was a standard 3 year program - you're fine.

You've got good work experience under your belt.

You've stated your short term goals. What are your long term goals? What do you plan to do 10 yrs from now? You may want to think about that. TPG - is a good consulting firm. However, what do you plan to do next? Why do you want to do it? How will an MBA degree help you get there? Make sure you really think through this part as you start writing your essays.

You've selected good schools. However, from where I see - these are extremely competitive schools. I'd recommend that you add some saftey schools or back up schools on your target list given the competitiveness of applicants this year.

Additionally, where are you working these days? Since you still have time, I'd recommend you continue gaining International work experience. Since you aren't applying this year, definitely go visit the websites of the schools you are interested in and take a look at the questions asked on essays for this year.

Hope this helps.
