Hi there...
You have a slightly below avg. score, however, your yrs of work exp can offset that requirement.

Goals
Short term - Get into management of a big international airline/ Consultant in aviation
Long term - Run my own business
Here is the thing- since you already are running a business that will reach 6 figures next year - you have a MAJOR gap in your application. I want you to think...
a)Why is your short term goal---in management for an international airline when you have a successful business running?

b) If you are already running something successful like your own business, why do you want to start something new?

c) Why do you need an MBA right now when your business needs you so badly?

d) How will an MBA help you at this point and why do you even need an MBA at this point???

Extra curriculur
Run an online business from bedroom, turnover to reach 6 figures next year
Made a website during 2001 Gujarat earthquakes, featured on tv and newspapers
Fitness enthusiast, Bodybuilder
Modelled for an asian magazine
Have had cosmetic surgery to improve looks - (dont know if i should say that?? lol)
Everything is fine. Just avoid mentioning medical situation unless it is related to some form of 'special need'. In your case, you are better off - not mentioning at all.

At this point, you still have some major thinking to do and if you need help with strategy let me know. However, if this is path you take, at this point of time your application will have blaring gaps. Hope this helps!

Good Luck!

Hi Sophia,
Thanks for the reply, your questions have made me realise i was very vague in my profile and in my essays! Will start working on adding more detail to the essays.
Here are the answers -
a)Why is your short term goal---in management for an international airline when you have a successful business running?
My long term goal is to setup a domestic airline and want to get experience in airline management.
b) If you are already running something successful like your own business, why do you want to start something new?
I spent a lot of hours setting up my online business like on SEO etc. I spend some time on it every now and then but it doesnt need my daily attention. It should reach 6 figures next year but because i am the middle man, i only earn a certain % of it. The market i am in is very saturated, there are no barriers to entry, kids are setting up similar businesses from bedrooms, i only got where i am cause i made by business image very professional and paid attention to detail.
c) Why do you need an MBA right now when your business needs you so badly? &
d) How will an MBA help you at this point and why do you even need an MBA at this point???
c is answered with b, and i am going for an MBA to get an overall business management understanding. I feel this is the right time in my career to switch from engineering to management for the attainment of my long term goal.
