I need some advice, I am looking to enroll in a part-time program in the Philadelphia Area. I am considering Temple, Drexel and Villanova, with Villanova as my top choice.

My Profile:
30 years old
9 years of SW Engineering
Consultant at Oracle
B.S. in Computer Science with a 3.1 GPA
GMAT score: 570

I know there is a lot more such as recommendations and essays, however how do you think I stack up taking everything into account so far? Looking at the Villanova, their mean score for Part-time is 590 and mean GPA is 3.4. Is my gpa and gmat score too low? Will they take into account the type of major I took?

I'm also strongly considering taking another prep course and retaking the gmat (already taken PR, looking to Manhattan). Although I know it would help if I retook the test, I'm trying to gauge my chances with my profile so far. Any advice would be appreciated. thanks!

Your stats are not so low as to automatically knock you out of consideration at Villanova. The 3.4 and 590 are averages. However, you would be a much stronger applicant with a higher GMAT.
