GMAT Score:700
Hi

I want to apply for GMAT.
While submitting the application for test appointment, I get two questions:

What function best reflects what you would like to do after completing your degree?
and
What area of concentration would you like to pursue?

I am unsure of the area of concentration or function, though I have narrowed down some options.

Will this information have any effect on my overall application ?
Will this information be visible/available in my GMAT score submitted to B-schools ?

Please help, as I want to schedule an appointment ASAP.

Thanks
Aakash

Dear Aakash,

The data is collected more for research purposes by the testing service and GMAC than anything else. It is rarely used by schools in your admissions evaluation. It is printed on your official score report; however, most schools are reviewing the numbers, not the other data.

Schedule your test, study hard and good luck!
