Hey guys
First, I'd like to say that this forum is awesome! It has been insanely helpful so far. (This is my first post.)
I have a question: What would look more favorable to admissions committees, taking a class online from a top ten or taking an in person class from an unknown (very unknown small college)?
I want to start building an alternative resume and take a Calculus and also a Statistics course. It has been very hard to find classes that fit my schedule as I usually get out of work by 7:30 the latest and most classes start at 6:30. I finally found a local college that has these courses on the weekends, but I also came across a top ten that offers them online and I was wondering if admissions committees look down on online classes. (I definitely would prefer the online courses because that would free me up to focus on other areas of my application.)
Thank you for any and all advice.
