Hi,

Thanks for your post. Can I ask why you elected to do an online program for your undergrad degree? Were you serving in the military at the time. One could state that it's difficult to compare an online degree to a traditional program and that your GMAT score would need to be high (it's great you are scoring 750 on your practice test) in order to mitigate any potential concerns. While online degrees are becoming more common, they are still rare when it comes to bschool applicant profiles which is why your GMAT score really will help balance out your profile.

I hope this helps. Please feel free to send your resume to [email protected] for a detailed free assessment.

Best,

Stacey

Yes, Stacey, I was on active duty at the time, and wasn't sure when I would settle down somewhere long enough to finish a traditional degree. I was sort of kicking myself over that decision, but I have gotten some great encouragement recently, because I've found out that the military experience is highly regarded, so I don't have as much to worry about as I thought.

Hi,

You shouldn't kick yourself for doing what you needed to do to get your college degree. You are correct in that your military experience is likely to be a strength to your profile and certainly justifies your need to get your degree online.

Best of luck to you!
