Age: 23 years
Gender: Male
Nationality: Indian
GMAT Score: 660 (Q 48, V 34, AWA: 6.0)

HSC Info:
Stream: General
Result: 85% (ICSE Board)

SSC Info:
Stream: Science
Result: 84% (ICSE Board)

Undergraduate Degree Information:
Major: Information Technology
College: Maharashtra Institute of Technology, Pune, India (affiliated to University of Pune)
Result: First Class (Aggregate: 59% - Not sure how to convert to 4.0 GPA scale)

Work Experience:
Current Role: Systems Engineer
2.1 years of full-time experience (will be 3 years by the time (if)I join)
Infosys Limited

Extra-curricular Activities: Not much here. Have been associated on and off with 'Save the Children' NGO. Was part of my school sports team. Participated in and won a few technical competitions in College.

I am interested in pursuing an MBA in Management Information Systems. I would prefer schools with good MIS programs to top schools with not so good MIS programs. Please let me know which schools can I target and frankly, how good a chance do I stand.

As you already know the 660 will hurt you. Retake the GMAT to try to improve your score.

If you can improve your score, you can consider Tepper and McCombs. You should be competitive for Smith (University of Maryland) as is but a higher score will help your chances. U.S. News publishes a ranking of Information System specialties so this is a good start for your research (https://grad-schools.usnews.rankingsandr ... s-rankings).

If you can improve your GMAT score to 700 you can also target Tepper.
