MBA at U of Alberta or U of Manitoba !!!

Hello ,

I have just received an offer from the University of Alberta for an MBA finally.But I also have an offer from U of Manitoba (Asper). Can anyone guide me as to which of the programs is better for specializing in finance and has a better faculty? I believe comparatively , Alberta holds a better placement rate than Manitoba. I will be glad if anyone who has worked or graduated from either of the Universities could guide me.

Congratulations on your acceptances!

I don't know those programs intimately enough to comment on their respective quality in finance, but I can advise a bit on how to evaluate them for your decision. In assessing quality of finance faculty and finance curriculum, don't rely only on external data, but consider your specific needs and interests. When you compare the two curriculums, which excites you most? Which seems best suited to your learning needs and learning style? When you evaluate the faculty, do any have particular relevance to your areas of interest in terms of their prior experience or their current research? Also look at teaching methods - case, classroom lecture, group projects, etc. - which may also vary.
