Hi experts,

As an MBA aspirant, targeting a elevated career in management consulting post MBA, I applied to Tepper(CMU) and Kelley(Indian) programs.
The outcome is :

Tepper - With no Scholarships

Kelley - With almost 50% (scholarship+assistanship)

As an candidate from India, I have to keep the financial constraints in mind because I would need to apply for [email protected]% for a $100K(in case of Tepper).

So Gurus, please help me out in deciding the right choice for me at this point of time.

My brief profile:
------------------------------------------

Undergrad - Engineering in Information Technology(From League-2 college in India )

Work experience - Technology & CRM consulting/implementation for almost 7 Years

Post MBA goal - Management Consulting

Thanks a lot in advance.

Dear ambeat,

Both schools are excellent and on par in terms of reputation. I think you need to determine your personal list of criteria, rank that list, and then compare the programs. It seems cost is a big issue for you, so you should include that on your list. At the end of the day, you can achieve your goal from either program. The question is really if one is more suited to both you and the type of consulting you want to do--does it have a stronger curriculum/elective offering? stronger consulting industry ties, specifically to the firms you are targeting? which schools seems to be a better fit for you personally?

Congratulations on your offers of admission and best wishes as you embark on your MBA journey!
