I was looking to enroll in the UTexas EMBA program and just finished my GMAT. I was wondering what other top schools I would have a good chance to be accepted to:
Age: 35
GMAT: 710 47/40 Q/A (I'm almost positive I could get a better Q score if I took it again)
Education: Comp Engineering from Big Ten School. 3.01 (not sure if GPA is a problem or not)
Career: Started in Development, moved to Management (managed up to 8 people), and now do Pre-and Post Sales Solutions Architecture. I also have press releases from my current employer referencing my work and me specifically
Letters of Rec: I should be able to get the CEO and CTO of a Fortune 1000 company where I've been 10 years. I've worked directly with both and they know me very well.
Outside activities: I'm worried this is an issue as I work a lot and haven't made time for things like charity work. My activities this past year: hiked 98 mile Wonderland Trail around Mt Ranier, SCUBA certifcantion, and training for my first 10k.
Am I a realistic candidate for Wharton/Northwestern/Chicago/Michigan EMBA?
