Hello, I just took the Manhattan GMAT practice test. I scored around where I want to be on the real GMAT, however I was wondering how accurate the practice test (and the Manhattan GMAT practice test) is. Is this a good indicator of the score I can expect when I take the GMAT? I am taking it next week. I would really appreciate any and all answers.

Nervous/ excited....

Thank you!

Dear nikikruise,

Most folks see their actual score come in lower than their practice test scores. It is most likely due to anxiety over being in the actual exam, whether you are consciously feeling the nerves or not. As long as you stay focused and work through the questions efficiently, then you should do as well as you can. There are folks who score at or slightly higher than their practice score also--just not as many. Perhaps you will be one!

Good luck,
Lisa
