Please Help! Deadline Nov 1st...

by taichka123 » Wed Oct 21, 2009 9:52 pm
My number one choice is Fordham University for spring 2010. The deadline is on the 1st of November, Should I wait and apply for fall 2010 instead, would I have a better chance since the dead line is not that close?? The School rep said that there is no limit for students they accept, is that true? Should I risks it and apply?

GMAT 560
GPA: 3.72
Experience: 3 years.
Undergrad: Fordham Business.

Please help,

Thank you!

Though your GPA is above average for Fordham, your GMAT score is in the lower end of the 80% range and your work experience is also on the low end. Unless you have a lot of time to dedicate to the creation of stellar essays and LORs over the next couple of weeks, it may be best to strengthen your profile before applying.

It will also be helpful if you can make the case as to why Fordham is a good fit for you. Do they have programs that are in line with your career goals? You need to differentiate yourself from other applicants in order to avoid being an "average" candidate.
