Hi Stacy,

This is Nataasha.I just read your post.

I need some advice, would be glad if you can help me out.

My gmat is on the 16 th of September.

I have to apply for fall 2010, But my mock scores are in the 550- 590 range.

I would like to apply to one of the decent schools in the US if not the top ones ( atleast schools ranked in the 25- 40 range)..

DO u suggest that I postpone my date ? ANd if Yes when latest can I take it , I would like to apply by the round two deadline.
Or its possible to reach 650 levels with the time I have in hand?

Please guide.

Thanks

Nataasha

Dear Nataasha,

It is hard to know or predict how you will do on the GMAT. Since you will have time to retake the GMAT prior to second round deadlines, then it might be worth going forward with your current test date on 16 Sept. However, if you feel you are not ready, then it might be worth pushing it back. Even if you take the test in October, you would probably have time for a retake before second round deadlines in Dec/Jan/Feb. The official GMAT scores take about 3 weeks to reach the schools, so the last possible test date would be about 25-30 days prior to the deadline.

Good luck,
Lisa
