Hi,
I am applying to INSEAD with a 680 V-34 Q 49. I have a pretty descent academic record. I worked in New York for 2 years as an IT consultant before I decided to quit and start my own Software Development firm in India in 2006. Achieved a cumulative turnover of around 15 million Indian Rupees in 2.5 years and my company has 10 employees. Is there a realistic chance of me getting through or I am hoping to achieve something too high for me? I am applying to RSM also but I am not sure of my chances there either. Please let me know your thoughts.
Thanks
Arunava

Dear Arunava,

Based on the limited information provided, I think you have the foundation for a competitive application to Insead and RSM. Your essays, recommendations, and interviews are critical to the ultimate decision, so be sure to convey your successful leadership and teamwork experiences in your essays as well as a solid rationale for getting your MBA in relation to your past experiences and future career goals.

Best of luck,
Lisa
