GMAT Score 600_ Masters in Finance

Hi
I gave GMAT a few days back and scored a sad 600.. But hopefully will be retaking it.

My Profile:
Scored well in 10th and 12th (Above 95%)
Scored 82.7% in B.Com (Hons.)from a reputed college of Delhi University
Will complete 2 years of Work experience (Analyst-Internal Audit) by July'16.
Extra curricular included Social Service at College and play guitar in idle time.

Is there any chance that with my score of 600, I will get a good Masters in Finance ? If there, then what are the options ?

Hi,

Your current score and profile is not so competitive for top B-schools. So please retake GMAT and target 700+ score to improve your chances. Since you have 2 years work experience you can also consider applying to MBA programs.

The GMAT point is moot I suppose after the responses here. Though not directly relevant, but you may find the article here relevant on the question of MBA Vs Master's course. So choose wisely

Hey there,
Although the GMAT score is one of the many aspects evaluated by the Admission Committee, I will definitely recommend you to give the GMAT again.
Even though schools have access to the scores of all your previous attempts, they consider the highest score. Nevertheless, you should be able to explain your performances.
Master in Finance is a highly appealing and enriching program. The GMAT score alone can not make you fit for it. You have to present yourself as motivated and able in the field. Your academics seem great and your work experience is good enough for a Master in Finance application.

You might have to pitch your extra curriculars to make them more relevant and attractive for the Master in Finance application.
