We are a group of ISB alumni and goISB is an earnest effort by us to bring ISB aspirants & alumni close to each other. The objective of goISB is to establish a reliable flow of information between and within these different groups.

Our motivation to start this thread stems from an urge to portray an authentic and complete picture about ISB without being bound by the official strings. Information about ISB is only a small part of what you will get through this forum; you will experience ISB here.Please feel free to post any queries that you may have about ISB, Admission process, Application and Interview tips, Qucik profile review etc. We will ensure that all your queries are answered in the least possible time by ISB alumni and our application consultants!

2.B Tech (Mechanical) 61%
Final Year project - Design of a crankShaft

Working with a start up (In the founders team) where we started a project right from start and now successfully running it. ( was part of Product management and Branding)

*Senior Under officer in NCC where i commanded a battalion of 300 cadets, Participated in various national camps.

*Part of an NGO (Child Welfare)

*Part of a Band (Rock)

Could you please evaluate my profile and let me know my prospects of getting int ISB
(Please also mention what is the AVG GMAT score expected)

Exp: 7 yrs in Telecom (1 year International)
Current Desig: Delivery Manager
B.E: Purdue University (2008)
GPA: 2.7/4
12th: 65%
10th: 79%
GMAT: Planned Nov 2015
3 years gap between school and engineering (due to family reasons)

Extracurricular:
1. Captain of school/college Football/Hockey teams
2. National/District appearance in Shotokan Karate
3. District level athletic awards
4. Participated and won English/Hindi debates and Elocutions in school
5. Organized events in school/college
6. Participate in animal welfare with local vets
7. International exposure during undergrad and professionally as well
8. Earned awards and quick promotions in current and previous organizations

Targeting: ISB, IIM-A (not so sure about US/EU MBA programs yet)
GMAT: Not given yet but in practice questions I am scoring 85-88% (I started prep 2 weeks back after a very long gap from studies)
