How damaging is a relatively low quant score if your overall score is above or near a school's median GMAT score? I have been hitting my goal score on practice CATs recently (low 700s), but my quant score is still falling between the 60th and 79th percentile and I'm worried that it will hurt my chances at top schools.
Also, I received A's and A+'s in most of the math/ stat/ econ classes that I took in college (at a large public university) and currently work in a finance-related field. Will those aspects of my application be enough to offset a lower quant score on my GMAT?
