Hello Sir,

I have a 680 GMAT (thought I'd get a 50, easily, on the quant, finished it 34 minutes before the allocated time and screwed it up. Over confidence, hence considering of taking it up again).

I think I am already too late to apply this year, so am planning to apply next year.
To what extent will doing a CFA help me with the application?
Thanks in advance.

Regards.

not sure what you mean by too late to apply this year. Most R2 applications have plenty of time left (even into January in most cases). If you think you can do better on the GMAT, you should retake. CFA is a nice credential, but will not make or break an application.
