You realistically need a high 600s (680+) at a minimum for the tier of schools you listed, and for LBS it'll need to be at 700+ -- or else you'll be a long shot to be honest. It's really simple. You're up against a TON of other Indians of a similar caliber (look at this site - the majority of posts are Indians like yourself) and they will have higher GMATs.
Retake the GMAT. Do whatever it takes to score at least a 680, and ideally a 700+.
Good luck

Hi Kulhot,
LBS will be a long shot. You can apply at other schools even though your GMAT score is below the avg score for these schools. Adcom's concern about your academic ability due to a below par GMAT can be offsetted to some extent through your excellent undergraduate performance. You need to bring out your best experiences in your essays. Other schools that you may consider are Kelley, Johnson, Said.

From IT consulting and with your GMAT, you are in a real tough position for your targeted schools. I think, even with a 670, you need to start looking at alternative schools that are more IT engineering friendly like McCombs, Kelley...
Gone are the days when you can make up for a low gmat--and the unpublished average for Indian engineers is higher than the class profile means.

I unfortunately agree with all of the other posters. With a high quality application your best shot out of all of these schools will be NUS.
If you are still at a 640 you should start compiling schools outside of the top 15 that you would wish to attend as Alex had suggested. The problem is that you are looking to break into management consulting. Management Consulting firms largely recruit at the top 15 (and some firms not at all of these). If you do go to a less selective program you might wish to pursue a short term goal of corporate development, internal consulting, or a leadership rotation program as alternative short term goals to accomplish your long term goal.
Good luck,
