Just needed an opinion regarding admissions for an MBA course (specially for INSEAD).Would really appreciate if you could evaluate my profile. I will be applying for the september session 2013. Below are my details;
GMAT - 680 (Q;49 V:35)
Degree: BENG (Hons) from a top UK university
Languages: Hindi (fluent), English (FLuent), German (Beginner)
Work Ex: 4 Yrs till date
After graduation started off as a System Design Engineer with a rail company in UK. Worked for 2 yrs on numerous projects.
Afterwards moved back to India and and am now working as a Technical Associate for a leading IT company in India.
Extra-Curriculars:
Always been a keen sportsman. Played state level cricket in India. Played for a club in England. Captain of School and district cricket teams. Also curently the captain of my corporate cricket team.
I am a keen musician. Currently have a band of my own and throughout participated in music events.
At work, I am part of the employee engagement and entertainment team, where we continuously organize events and team building activities for employees.
Also I am currently working with an NGO during my free time where I teach cricket to underprivileged children.
The reason why I want to do an MBA is primarily to switch to a Finance job.
Please help me out here.
