i got a 3.14 from cornell in mech. eng and a 680 on my gmat, (q 42 v 41. I also work at an engineeirng company doing system analysis, (quant heavy stuff). I've got 3 years of we so far and im fluent in 3 languages.

Hi bobdemerrit,

Regarding your work experience, remember that admissions teams are looking to cultivate future leaders, so it is important to discuss any leadership and management experience you have. I recommend you read this case study of an engineer who was accepted into Columbia, Tuck, and MIT:

With regards to your GMAT score, your score is self-reported on your application and admissions teams focus will on your highest score, so if you believe you can improve your score by 40+ points, we recommend you look to take the test again.
