Its about acclimatization.
I had a wishful thought that i know more and more about the current one and it is easier considering it will not have a new section.

They were going to realize one day that AWA was becoming irrelevant and can be shortened to give way to Integrated Reasoning Section .

Once the pattern gets implemented, it would be easier to comment. However, The Quant and Verbal sections aren't changing, but the new GMAT in June is "harder" in the sense that there will be substantially more to prepare for on the test, and quality preparation is a key component of doing well on the test.

Integrated Reasoning only adds to number of hours of preparation and in no way subtracts.
