Hi,

Thanks for your post. Overall you have a strong profile for your selected schools. Your background in luxury brand management is unique and will certainly help you stand out from the rest of the applicant pool. It's also great to see you have a lot of extracurricular activities. This is often a weak spot for many applicants. I strongly suggest finding a way to incorporate your involvement in these activities into your essays. It could be a great way for you to highlight your leadership skills, especially if you haven't had a lot of opportunities to lead in your job.

Regards,

Stacey

Hi Stacey,

Thank you for a prompt reply.

Your response is highly motivating. I would also like you to suggest other top 1 year international mba programs that would fit my profile.

Do you think my work experience and extra curricular activities can to an extent overshadow my comparatively average GMAT score of 640?

Although I have already submitted my application to Ivey before the second deadline, I would still like to know whether it is tough getting through as compared to if I had submitted before the 1st deadline?

Thanking you once again for your response.

Regards,

Arnab.

Hi,

I think you've compiled great list of schools and I honestly don't have any additional ones to add. In regard to your Ivey application. Round 1 is always ideal because it has it's strategic advantages. However, if you put together a solid application and essays, then round 2 is just fine as well. As long as you put your best foot forward you will be competitive for admission.

Best,

Stacey
