i'm a current grad student who submitted my application for several mba schools in round 2 (i'm hoping to do a joint degree). since submitting my mba, i've picked up an internship (15 hrs/wk), and i've been doing meaningful work for the past month. do you think it's worthwile to update the admit committee on this info before they make their final decision (within the next two weeks)?

thanks!

Dear whatsupma:

If the job is of a professional-level and in a business function, than it might be worth sending an updated resume. If it really doesn't relate to what you want to do post-MBA, then it really would not have much of an impact on the decision.

Best of luck on your applications!
