Hello All,
I recently gave GMAT and scored 650 (Q 50 V 27) AWA 6.
Now how do I select schools where I will have a good chance ?
GPA is poor. Am a lawyer practicing independently in Delhi, India. (Graduated 2004) (In India, law can also be a course done right after school, five year course, alternately law can also be studied after graduation)
I am looking for schools that would be open to such a stream change and who would focus less on GPA. And maybe more on curriculars etc.
Personally, I have this fascination for NYU Stern. (unexplainable, no maybe its finance, NY City).
With this background am I aiming too high ? Do I stand a chance in any good top ranking B School.
Also, I plan to retake the GMAT a month from now. How will my application be looked into if I score lower than 650. ( am sure this is unlikely, but niggling doubt)
Thank you
Saurabh
