Hello there good sir,
My first piece of advice to you, my friend is to be a bit realistic in your goals. I don't know exactly what you mean by "Top schools", but as an Indian candidate with a so-so GMAT and a bit older, Top 20 schools are not really going to be in range for you. Even if you were to get a 750 on your retake Top 10 schools would still be out of range.

But don't let this get you down!
There are plenty of other fantastic schools out there, that can likely help you get towards your goals.

So first things first: retake that GMAT, and soon! You don't have THAT much time.

I'd also suggest you look into EMBA programs and European MBA programs, as you would fit better given your age,

Hope this helps out dude,

Jon,

Thanks for the reply. It really helped me to understand the reality. I have some more questions can you please clarify.

>>There are plenty of other fantastic schools out there, that can likely help you get towards your goals.
Can you please tell me some of those fantastic schools.

>>So first things first: retake that GMAT, and soon! You don't have THAT much time.
I am planning to take in coming September. I am expecting around 720+

>>I'd also suggest you look into EMBA programs and European MBA programs, as you would fit better given your age,
Does EMBA has the same value as MBA? Post MBA will i get a good job? Regarding location i prefer US. Post MBA i want to work in US for some years and come back to japan.

Thanks
