Evaluation of profile

by richa2959 » Fri Aug 30, 2013 9:25 pm
Hi,

i recently gave my gmat and scored 680 (Q49, V33).
I have 2+ years experience in IT industry.
I have average scores in academics (75% in engineering)
i have some NGO experience and I was involved in co curriculars during my engineering.

Which colleges should I apply to? OR should i give a retake?

Well since two years work experience is a bit on the low side, and R1 is as good as over, why not think about a retake and applying R1 next year?

Agreed, with 2 years of experience you're really not in a rush. A stronger GMAT would definitely help, especially coming from the IT industry with an average GMAT.

Given your score split, I would suggest you find a prep course before the retake. Your quant score is fantastic but to bring up your verbal is going to take education in not only content but also strategy.
