Hi
I plan to apply to Wharton, Chicago and London Business School.
Can someone please evaluate my profile and tell whether I can be competitive ?
Profile:
Indian Male
Class 12 : 88.8%
Undergrad: BTech, IIT (7.99/10 GPA)
GMAT: 720 (Q49, V 40, AWA: 5.5)
Work Ex: 6yrs till july 2011
- the last 2.5 yrs, Associate on a fixed income trading desk at an Investment Bank. Managing the trading book. Desk making substantial p&l.
- for 1.5 years Team Lead on a structuring desk, same Investment Bank
- Initial 1.5 yrs at a boutique financial research firm.
(International Experience is 1 year in New York)
Summer Internship: 3 months in a European firm developing quantitative models for data analysis.
ECs: Silver medalist in badminton during college days, Designed an apparatus that is being used in lab for experiments
CSR volunteer and sports committee member at the company.
Awards: Awarded an international scholarship for dual masters in Europe.
Few other National scholarships in high school.
