Thanks for your post. In regard to your GPA, while a bit below average at US top 10 schools, it is still above a 3.0. Adcoms take into consideration the difficulty of one's major when evaluating a GPA. Your major in mechanical engineering is deemed to be challenging and thus a 3.2 GPA isn't really all that low. Keep in mind that adcoms will also look at your GMAT score as part of your academic profile, and your score of 740 is quite solid. Bottom line, I think you are in good shape academically for top US programs.
