Thanks for the reply
Well, I would like to stay in CA so I was hoping to get into UCI Merage, UCLA Anderson, USC Marshall, Berkeley Haas, UC Davis.. Out of state I would have applied to top schools like northwestern and columbia. But now with my low gmat I am not sure. I do not really understand why I have scored so low(Well I havent really studied for the gmat b/c of my busy schedule). I am still currently a senior at UCI. I have gotten As in all my hard classes including graduate school classes in econometrics, all my math classes(calc, differential equations, etc) all my upper div statistics classes. I am not sure why I can not do as well on my gmat.
I plan on working myself into the wireless field(sprint, verizon, att) As I used to work there in retail and I just have a passion for mobile phones. I am also being recruited by Deloitte into consulting and if cannot get into a top 25 MBA program then I would probably work there for a 1 or so then reapply to MBA hopefully with a higher GMAT.
I currently work for th UCI career center and our main recruiter loves me. She has recommended me in the past and has written letter saying on how well placable I am into a job(which MBA schools take highly b/c of their ranking). I worked as an intern last summer for a MBA grad from UCLA and a Lawyer as his executive assistent and I helped him run 4 of his businesses he owned. I have also worked for ATT wireless in retail sales along with 4 years of experience as a realtor and mortgage manager for a financial firm. I have made 6 figures already in a year at the financial firm(I do not know if MBAs care about that)
Hope this sheds more light!
Thanks!
