Dear sir,
I think you have a great profile! Despite the 5th GMAT retake and all. You come form Japan (from which schools don't see aaaaall that many applications) you have the GMAT, the great grades, what seems to be awesome work experience. You have lived abroad and best of all are sponsored by your firm!! If you add to that an excellent application with superb essays, I think Top 10 should be within range (although I would also say choose maybe one or maybe two from the 10-20 range as a backup plan).


At 30, although you are a bit on the old side, especially for HBS/Stanford, but still I think you'd have a shot, and you aren't really out of the standard deviation, so I think you will be fine. The KEY now is your STORY!!!
