Hello Everyone,

I had my GMAT and was shocked by seeing the result.I ended up with 550.It is the least score i have ever got.In the last mock i got 710.But may be today is not my day.
I just like to know what are my chances in getting into a decent school.

My Profile
10th- 85%
12th- 81%
B.E. - 78% (Electronics and Communication)

Approximately 2 years of work ex. as a software engineer in IT company.

I have been an active member of Corporate Social Responsibility Group. Helping poor children in getting education.
Received numerous awards in cricket, dance and singing.
Organized national level technical fest of my college(Also have a certificate of it)
95% in Sun Certification of JAVA

Can get good recommendations. Initially i was looking for UC- Berkley and Davis, Michigan University, Rice Univ. and Case Western univ.
Now after having my GMAT score i dont know whether i'll be able to get into any of these universities.

Kindly Help me by letting me know what are my chances for these univ. and plz let me know some more univ where i can apply.

Hello,

That's unfortunate after your excellent preparation efforts. With a 550 I believe you would not be a viable candidate at the programs you mentioned. It's hard to suggest programs without knowing your goals.

However, since you have done much better in practice tests, it might be a good idea to retake the GMAT, focusing first on test-taking techniques.

Best regards,
