Profile evaluation for ISB

Dear Sir/Madam,

My GMAT score is 700.

Please find a snapshot of my profile below:

I am a working IT professional.
Work experience: 3+ years. (current company: SAP Labs, previous company: ATOS)
Working on SAP ERP (HR applications)
Social committee Member at SAP Labs.
Client appreciation for innovative solution and consultation.

B.Tech: 86.2%
12th : 82%
10th : 87%

Extracurricular:
- Started a Independent Organisations for Development of Orphanages in college.
- Passionate Photographer.
- Participated in National Conferences in college.

Please let me know, how the profile stands in the ISB race and how it can be improved.

Hi,

Your GMAT score is average but you can stand a good chance if you differentiate yourself well from a typical software developer.

Focus on your functional knowledge and knowledge about processes rather than the technical aspects of ERP implementation in the essays and application.
If you have been involved in direct client interaction use that well in the essays. If possible, get one recommendation from a client.

Your extra currics look pretty decent. Focus on the challenges faced while setting up the organization for orphans. May be discuss the conference and photography thing in essay 3 to portray a holistic profile.

Overall, we feel that you can hit the interview table at ISB if you do justice to the application and essay.
