Hi, does anyone have any insight into how many of the week long executive courses look on a resume in the eyes of an admissions committee? I have seen many of the top school's offer these courses on specific topics. Booth has many listed on their website.

Thanks,
Derek

Dear Derek,

In general, short duration/part-time courses have only incremental value. A week long course is likely to add minimal value to your profile from an adcom/employability perspective. Such courses are better suited to enhance your knowledge. Expecting some mileage on the resume is not why you should be taking them up.
