You may find it more challenging to compete for consulting jobs in the US after an international one year program, but not impossible. You will need to put in an extra amount of effort to the job search and start now building your network while you still have easy access to the US system. I assume Visa is not an issue. Your profile is good on paper, but it's hard to stand out in your applicant pool, which is substantial. Make sure you make your story personal and emphasize your career advancement and leadership to help you differentiate yourself. I like that you have already worked in the US--many Indian IT applicants cannot make this claim, so you should also comment in your essays on how valuable this will be in the classroom vs. other international applicants who have not ever worked in the US.
