Career Choice- Require Immediate Advice

by supriya jain » Thu Aug 12, 2010 5:52 am
Hi,

I am in some sort of dilemma right now. I am working in a financial research firm for the past few years. I have a Gmat score 690, which i think if subordinated with good essays can take me to good colleges. However, i think my present job is a little too taxing and does not give me enough time to prepare for essays and interviews. Therefore, i want to join a school for some time- till the time my interviews and calls dont convert. However, I am not able to decide if this decision will have a negative impact on my interview or resume. Can someone help me with the decision. I need to inform my officials by tomorrow evening.!

Supriya,

Thanks for your note. I am sorry to hear that your current job is too taxing. Are you performing well at your job?

If you don't like your job, you should consider getting a new one that is a better fit for you.

Keep in mind that a lot of applicants to top business schools manage to find the time to apply while still working 50+ hours/week at their current job.

Sincerely,
